Allowed with conditions. Power banks (spare lithium batteries) must be in your carry-on, never in checked bags. Up to 100 Wh is fine without airline approval — that covers most phone and laptop power banks. Between 100–160 Wh you need airline approval. Over 160 Wh is not allowed on passenger aircraft.
Checked-bag details
Not allowed. Spare power banks are prohibited in checked baggage because of fire risk — they must travel with you in the cabin so a crew member can respond if one overheats.
